'The Roost' Our Tiny wooden house to stayOur Tiny Wooden House is unique set in our half acre garden with enclosed private area. For cosy nights The Roost has its own logburner a sofa bench that turns into a single bed and climb the ladder to the king-size bed in the loft space . The Roost has its own shower and Loo space. The kitchen area with mini Belfast sink, fridge and ice box single ring ceramic hob and microwave. Bedding is provided and small towels , please bring bath towel . We have animals and poultry so fresh eggs are always available. If you would like sausage bacon steaks etc they can be ordered and placed in the fridge ready for your arrival (separate cost ) We are a couple of miles from Belton House , Easton walled gardens and just a little further is Belvoir Castle. The Bee Cottage Rutland - 17th century thatched!Situated in the village of Cottesmore & only 5 min away from Rutland Water, is a 17th ct picture perfect thatched and recently refurbished cottage. With original features such as low ceilings and exposed beams, wood burning stove, the cottage provides accommodation for up to 5 people with deceptively large living areas. COVID 19 UPDATE: the cottage is still taking bookings and is completely private and deep cleaned between guests. It’s a great place to escape. Gamekeeper Lodge is a characterful, modern and luxurious self catering cottage; and forms a totally private annexe to our Grade 2 listed thatched cottage in the heart of Rutland. The property was designed in 1795 by John Nash, who also designed Buckingham Palace and overlooks the original thatched game larder. Situated only 2 miles from Rutland Water.
