Woodland Yurt

Nestled in the beautiful rolling hills of East Clare, retreat from the busyness of life to a unique experience in nature. It’s a really beautiful space with trees and a small forest. This semi off grid yurt is designed to provide you with comfort. The yurt is attached to a private kitchenette and a small bathroom with hot shower and a toilet. Ballindooley Castle

The Castle rests on about half an acre of land with Ballindooley Lake lying to the south west. It is surrounded by low walls and hedges: with a gated entrance controlled by an electronic security system. Features include 3 murders holes and a dungeon The castle was built by the DeBurgo family (approximately 1480). It had the distinction of being shelled by the British Gunboat ” Helga” during the1916 Rising to disband rebels
