With spectacular far reaching views Stride’s Barn is situated 9 miles from the Cathedral City of Salisbury and 15 miles from Southampton . An ideal base to explore the local areas including many walks, pubs , restaurants, golf clubs and other tourist attractions such as Stonehenge and Paultons Park/Peppa Pig World . Relax with family or friends at this peaceful place to stay. Close to Stonehenge, Salisbury, Bath and Marlborough. The Lodge is a welcoming countryside home, offering space for up-to six adults. There are two bedrooms, a large sofa bed in the lounge, full kitchen and bathroom as well as inside and outside dining areas. There are great transport links to nearby towns and the lovely Wiltshire countryside, and plenty to do in the immediate area, as well as two great pubs in walking distance!

Refurbished so you can enjoy modern conveniences alongside the historical features. The second bedroom has the flexibility to be twin beds or a superking bed. The village, which boasts pubs and shops, is well located for walking and cycling. Nearby are the cities of Bath (15mins) and Bristol (30mins) as well as Cotswold villages such as Castle Combe (10mins).

Its charming setting is instantly relaxing, with a private terrace overlooking mature gardens, dairy pasture and the tranquil River Avon. Renovated recently, so everything is fresh, bright and immaculate, it sleeps 4 people comfortably, and there’s a double sofa bed if you have extra guests. There’s plenty of secure parking behind electric gates.

The North Transept

The North Transept is part of our converted Victorian Gothic church. We've done all the conversion ourselves - the high ceilings and beautiful Gothic windows make it a unique space. It's in a small hamlet in a beautiful hidden valley surrounded by fields; there's lovely walking from the door and lots of local wildlife including roe and muntjac deer, pheasants, red kites and owls. It's easy to get to a wide range of local attractions like Lacock and Avebury and only half an hour to Bath.
