Upstairs there is a very comfortable super kingsize bed, a rolltop bath, a huge velvet sofa and a 50" TV. Downstairs is a shower room, kitchen and large dining area. Alba Cottage is a charming, Grade II Listed, 3 bedroom thatched cottage in the picturesque village of Wilcot (in the Pewsey Vale an AONB). It has wooden beams, a warm, colourful interior and is very quiet and peaceful. The large garden has a hidden gate onto the green behind. Free parking immediately outside the door. 4mins from Pewsey station (London 1 hr) but surrounded by picturesque walks and cycle routes in the North Wessex Downs and Savernake Forest. Many straight from the front door.

Lakeside Annexe in hamlet next to the K&A canal

The Annexe is attached to our house which is on the edge of a small hamlet bordering the Kennet and Avon canal in the heart of the stunning Pewsey Vale. It overlooks our small private lake which is host to a variety of water birds including our beautiful pair of resident swans. We have some wonderful walks directly from the house which include two excellent village pubs. The location is ideal for trips to Bath, Salisbury, Oxford and London (fast train from Pewsey) plus many local attractions.

The Pigsty

Situated in the small village of Wilcot 1.8 miles from Pewsey known for one of Wiltshires smallest white horses on Pewsey hill, Bumbles cabin is less than 2 minutes walk to the Kennet and Avon canal, along with many beautiful countryside walks surrounding the village. 5 Minutes walk to the local public house, The golden swan said to be the steepest thatch in Wiltshire! 20 mins to west kennet, 20 mins to Devizes, 14 mins to Marlborough, 14 mins to Avebury stone and 30 mins to Stonehenge.

Private, luxurious and cosy shepherd hut

"Hares Rest" shepherd hut is situated in a private location within a paddock with amazing rural views. Hares, red kites, barn swallows and deer are just some of the wild life you can see. Good pubs within various walking distance (3, 30 and 45 mins). Bowood House, adventure park, golf course and spa is 5 mins drive away. The train station is a 10 minute drive with easy access to Bath. We have horses so only very well behaved dogs are allowed by prior agreement and additional charge.
