Beautiful calm swimming beach across the road and over the park. Within a stones throw is a dairy, cafe, restaurant/bar, playground, massive park, fishing wharf, boat ramp, and epic walk/bike paths. Not far away are hot pools, the best pizza & pies, fish & chips, golf course, supermarket... 20 mins drive to Tauranga/Mount Maunganui.

The Bach is light, modern, comfortable, within walking distance of beach and village. Sit on the deck and watch the sun go down over the hills, stroll a few hundred metres to the golden sand beach, or across the common to the village for coffee and shopping. There is unlimited fibre internet, ducted air conditioning and heating, and linen and bath-towels are provided. Please bring your own beach-towels. Maximum occupancy is 4 guest. Homewood cottage is situated in a private garden behind the main homestead “Homewood”. Homewood was built in 1876 by Dr Thomas Fletcher and was the original farm house in the area. The cottage was built in the early 1900s when the property was owned by George Alley a well known philanthropist.
