The Koselig Condo

Koselig"(Norwegian) = Cozy (English). Sitting at the base of the Cuchara Mountain Park with hiking, skiing, sledding, and snowshoeing outside the door. Walk to the nearby Mercantile for breakfast/lunch or drive into the nearby towns of Cuchara or La Veta for dinner. A comfortable retreat for those seeking time in the wilderness. Great studio apartment. Beautiful views with country living, quiet and peaceful, 1.5 miles to town. Owners on site, friendly but private, no contact unless initiated by you. Walk the neighborhood and enjoy the views in every direction. Can accommodate 2 adults and one child comfortably. The queen bed is a very comfortable Murphy Bed. The apartment will NOT accommodate 3 adults. Quiet time is 10 PM - 7 AM. Enjoy the starry nights, & beautiful cool mountain days. Designated parking area.

Colorado High Mountain Off-Grid Glamping Treehouse

Get away from it all in our remote, contemporary style, off-grid, Colorado treehouse, located in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains at 10K ft elevation. Relax on the deck while taking in the amazing views of Culebra Peak or gaze at the star filled skies. A tiny wood-burning stove will keep you cozy and warm. The sectional couch is used as a super-sized bed. Older kids (or average sized adults) can sleep in the small overhead loft on a 3 inch queen foam topper.

Wahatoya Guesthouse

Wahatoya Guesthouse is approximately one mile from La Veta. This spot is private and tranquil, with amazing views of the Spanish Peaks. You will be within walking distance of two Colorado State Wildlife lakes that offer fishing, hiking, and biking. The quaint town of La Veta offers art galleries, Francisco Fort Museum, a brewery, a seasonal wine bar, live music, locally owned restaurants and businesses, including a wonderful grocery store and soda fountain.

River's Bend

Located on the bank of the Cucharas River, the River's Bend ideal mountain retreat is geared for a family vacation, or personal restorative get away. This two beadroom, 3 bath cabin can accomadate up to six guests in the main cabin with use of the luxury cots in the spacious sunroom. With special arrangements, the detatched Sleeping Hut outfitted with queen bed and sleeping loft offers additional beds and the best sleep you will ever experience!
