You’ll have the view of Ironside Mountain and the sound of the rushing Hennessy Creek while you’re soaking in an outdoor tub giving you that peaceful getaway feel. Fishing, kayaking, whitewater rafting, mountain biking and dirt bike riding are just some of what’s to offer in these rugged lands.

Located in an upscale quiet neighborhood in the hills above Arcata, near extensive redwood hiking trails. Unwind in our sheltered outdoor living room, with a fire pit by the pond. **Please keep voices low out of consideration for the neighbors.**

Alpine Camp | Tub | Glamping | Tiny Cabin

Alpine Camp is an A-frame tiny cabin in the Shasta-Trinity Nat'l Forest; on a private, low-impact campground. Overlooking a 30-foot natural waterfall*, surrounded by ferns, and mossy forest, it’s a basecamp made for relaxing. The cabin’s translucent pop-up window opens into a covered awning, giving you a front-row seat to the forest, no matter the weather, while the mosquito netting keeps the bugs away. Unplug from the noise and immerse yourself in the raw beauty of old-growth wilderness.

Cottage by the Sea

Enjoy a cozy, warm inviting studio and be gently rocked to sleep by the sound of the ocean waves. A short walk to the beach and lagoon. The Cottage is located across the street from the ocean, and surrounded by the forest. Quiet and private space to relax and unwind. Quaint cottage nestled in a fruit orchard, near the beautiful Trinity river. The cottage is set in a quiet pastoral setting that borders always green pastures. There is a seasonal garden lot by the House as well as an orchard where guests can pick fruit in season, surrounded by a view is of the breathtaking forested Trinity Mountains. Come enjoy the fresh air and clear stars! We are also cleaning the cabin using the CDC - Airbnb cleaning protocol to ensure the safety of our guests!

Tide-pooling, agate hunting, and exploring Sue-Meg State Park is just a short drive down the road.
