Explore the headwaters of the Dog River. Revel in Vermont's finest skiing, hiking, biking, beer, and food just up and down the road. Outdoor sauna available for added fee.

Come enjoy our cozy log cabin perched just steps from the shores of Peacham Pond. Relax on the spacious deck or next to the wood stove while loons call in the distance. Being next to the Groton State Forest, this vacation getaway offers snowmobiling, snow shoeing, cross country skiing, hiking, ice fishing and hunting. It is also an easy 50 minute drive to Burke and Stowe and Craftsbury ski areas. High speed internet is available at the house but cellular service is 20 minutes away.

Badger Cottage offers a true rustic Vermont experience nestled in the woods with spectacular views and a quiet and peaceful ambiance. Once a barn, carefully reconstructed on the owners’ property, and modernized to today’s standards, this post and beam cabin is warm and cosy in winter and cool in summer. Well behaved dogs are very welcome and will enjoy the walks in the woods. Covid vaccinations are required. The owners live in an adjacent house with their very friendly Border Terrier
