Your private entrance leads to a guest suite attached to our house with a lounge, separate double and single bedrooms, a bathroom and a kitchenette with basic supplies for preparing meals.

There are amazing rock formations at the mouth of the Kaiwhata river also. In evening you can relax under the night sky in the private spa pool which is right outside you door.

Our place is a unique architectural designed passive solar, straw bale home with recycled native wood and natural clay finish. Kawau is a new home built in the character style of the 1900's. Situated on 1.5 acres with a large lawn. Take the bridge over the Little Kawau stream to wander the paths of our garden or relax on our covered decks. We are adjacent to Schnell Wetlands walkways. 5 minutes from PN Airport and 10 minutes to Manfeild, the centre of Palmy, or Ashhurst for the famous Gorge Walk. We are unable to accommodate children under the age of 12.

Placed on top of Lansdowne Hill with superb rural views, this self-contained unit is close to Masterton Golf Club, Lansdowne Trails and Mountain Bike Park, and town centre only 3K away. Bed arrangement is one Super King which can be re-configured to two Single beds on request. Complimentary tea, coffee, milk, yoghurt and cereal. There is a single induction hot-plate with fry-pan and pot with steamer available.
