BlueRock Ranch Kananaskis cabin

Have some adventures, or just relax, at this unique cabin retreat. Located in Alberta’s beautiful Foothills bordering on to famous Kananaskis country. Hike (or snow shoe) on or off property with miles of marked trails. Stay in this authentic log cabin attached, but private from, the main home on the ranch. Pre arranged horse accommodation available if you want a bed and bail experience with your horse (Contact for details) at an additional cost. Winter visits only possible with a 4x4 vehicle

The Bunkhouse

Come to relax and experience a taste of the country at RTR Ranch with our newly renovated 450 sq/ft 1905 bunkhouse. Featuring a kitchen, living room, bedroom and en suite with a soaker tub and glass walk in shower. Cuddle up on the couch for a movie or outside on the porch swing gazing at the stars. After a good nights sleep enjoy your coffee on porch swing or a stroll around the ranch! Coffee, tea, hot chocolate and packaged oatmeal is provided. There is so much more to enjoy at RTR!

The Gnome Dome

For the ultimate in privacy and freedom this dome in an urban backyard has no equal. The Gnome Dome has (almost) all the features of a hotel room with none of the noise. The bed is suitable for one person only (1 meter wide) The backyard is an oasis where you can enjoy a morning coffee or a quiet evening drink. We live nearby in the estate home and are happy to help if needed, while fully respecting your privacy.

It’s a piece of prairie living, with an enormous yard, complete with fire pit, seating and plenty of privacy. Set amidst a quiet neighborhood with easy access off of highway 2. Peaceful Riverside Dome, Snowshoes Included

Connect with nature in comfort in this tranquil riverside dome. The dome is located along Elbow River at Onespot Crossing Campground, a 200 acre family-owned Indigenous campground. Includes private firepit, picnic table, solar lights and a private porta-lu toilet. Please note: This is still a rustic, off-grid camping experience with access by gravel road. There are five other domes on site.
