Sunset house in Hydra

Our parents build this wonderful house in the traditional architecture of Hydra. The house is located in the picturesque fisherman's harbour of Kamini, more quiet and peaceful compared to the lively and cosmopolitan port of Hydra. It is 15 min walk from the central port of Hydra (along a scenic road next to the sea) or 3 min by water taxi. The house is only 90 steps(usually are more than 200) from the Kamini sea side road but the spectacular view from the terrace make it worth the effort.

Our place is a traditional stone house at Kamini district. It's a 15 minute walk from the port and 7 minutes from one of the best beaches of Hydra. Kamini is a quiet neighborhood with a small marina and restaurants serving delicious greek dishes. Our house has a balcony with exceptional sea view, a cozy side patio and a garden with lemon trees. It's a 2 bedroom house renovated and fully equipped (oven, dishwasher, washing-drying machine, A/C, Wi-Fi, Tv etc.) making it ideal for families.

With the ideal balcony for sunset lovers, it is the perfect place to share your meal and drinks with your loved ones. Olive Trees House is a charming house, located in the bay of Mandraki, 20-25 minutes walk from the port. The house is detached, quiet, a bit high up on the hillside in an authentic and preserved environment. You will be dazzled by the extraordinary view of the sea. It is surrounded by olive trees, two lemon trees and a fig tree. Its two terraces, each with its own shaded pergola, offer a beautiful 180° view of the sea and the neighbouring hills.

"Almyra" is a greek word that describes the saltiness of the sea water. This apartment is located in Kamini area, close to the small local port. It is part of a bigger building right by the sea, which used to be a tannery (tampakiko) -back to the 1840s.
