Located a few hours from DC and Richmond, this 2.5 acre waterfront property is a world away! Enjoy coffee on the porch, time on our private beach, sunsets from the dock, and evenings by the fire. Soak in the hot tub, or take the kayaks out! We offer comfy mattresses and cozy linens, as well as high speed wifi and a fully stocked kitchen.

Come relax in our delightful waterfront home decorated with classic cottage décor. Sit out on one of the two big screened-in porches, go for a swim in the shallow brackish (mostly fresh) water, relax in our hot tub, sweat in the sauna, or throw one of our crab pots in the water and enjoy the spoils of the waters off the Potomac River. Our house is situated off the Potomac on Hull Creek, which means the water is nice and shallow for little ones to play, and there are plenty of crabs to be caught!

The “Beach House” is a guest cottage at Snug Harbor, a 2 acre private property overlooking the Rappahannock River and Chesapeake Bay. Perfect for a couple’s getaway, this well-appointed cottage has beautiful water views and includes access to our private beach & dock (with guest slip) with use of our paddle boards and kayaks. The cottage’s 1st floor features an open liv/din/kit area, full bath with large shower and a covered patio. The 2nd floor features a large loft bedroom with a queen bed.

Historic St. Mary's City, MD

1,000 square foot two-bedroom, one bath waterfront apartment features separate entrance and a screened-in porch overlooking the St. Mary’s River. Property has a large dock and a small private beach. Jellyfish, crabs, and oysters make swimming challenging, although many swim off the dock in the deeper water. No Diving! Dogs are welcome. We just ask that they be on a leash. The apartment is attached to part of the house where we reside, although it is sealed off and nothing is shared.

Escape to the Treehouse in beautiful Urbanna! Our studio apartment is located in Fort Nonsense, a 3-story home with panoramic views of Urbanna Creek and the Rappahannock River. The Treehouse at Fort Nonsense is a peaceful getaway perfect for couples or solo travelers. **New in 2026** There is a new, queen-sized fold-out bed to replace the sofa bed and address negative feedback. This apartment is a unique space to work with, but we strive to provide a comfortable and budget friendly stay.

Relax with the whole family and spend life on Island Time. Full bar set up with ice maker and wine refrigerator. Private pier, paddle boards and firepit. Unwind on St Goerge Island or head out to one of the local eateries for some southern Maryland faire. Inside you have 2 spacious rooms, 2 bathrooms. A massive island for cooking, card playing or just great conversations with endless views. Crabbing, fishing. The Neighbors have 2 Great Danes and a cat that you may see occasionally

It's a sweet spot to relax and enjoy a quiet get-away or launch a kayak, take a walk, enjoy great cuisine. We sit next to St. Mary's College of MD and Historic St. Mary's City. You may see college sailing races, crew teams rowing, or the historic Maryland Dove sailing down the river. It's lovely here year around! SUNSETS!
