This rustic off-grid micro cabin is 106 sq. ft. but feels much bigger, nicely nestled away in the mossy forest. Sleeps two in a queen bed in the loft. Minutes from surfing and hiking trails, you’re in the right place for epic adventures. We built our cabin using mainly reclaimed materials. We wanted to build a place that had minimal impact on the environment. It has on demand hot water, rainwater catchment, and solar powered electricity. We also have a beautiful sauna available to rent.

A perfect ocean-side Suite & Sauna tucked in the trees and ferns at the end of a quiet culdesac. The newly built shipping container suite design is modern, light, clutter-free, clean, and features a Sauna / Warm Room. An ideal stay for one or two guests. Stay in and relax, or walk down the trail through the forest will find you at the ocean where you can watch the waves,  sunsets or continue walking up to China Beach. Our rustic little cabin sleeps four comfortably and is nestled in a private, heavily forested two acre property on the edge of a ravine just steps from the Pacific Ocean. It offers privacy and easy access to beaches, surfing and hiking trails. You will love listening to the sound of the waves and the running water in the creek as you nap in the hammock or lay in bed in the cozy loft.

We completely renovated the cabin back to the studs. NEW: Insulation, exterior cladding, windows, doors, flooring, kitchen, bathrooms, heating systems. If you've stayed here before you will not recognize it. The space is suitable for 6 adults/children or 4 adults and 3 children.

Mid-island, this rustic cabin is perfect for any couple (or small group) shacking up in the woods. Features a full kitchen inside, outhouse, outdoor shower, fire pit, covered porch & access to pebble beach trails, making this a magical retreat. Please note that while there is wi-fi at the cabin, there is no cell reception on the property, and many guests have mentioned that they’ve enjoyed the chance to unplug and connect with nature.

We have updated The Hideout and look forward to welcoming the world back at the end of summer 2025!! The Hideout grew from a vision we had when we moved to the Coast in 2020. With the desire to share our dream of living amongst the trees, tucked away from the world, The Hideout was created. Wrapped in hand milled cedar, fir and hemlock this space was designed to remind us to slow down, breathe deep and take it all in.

Play on the beach, nature walk through our private old growth forest or come visit our friendly animals and the beautiful gardens at Woodside Farm.
