The Cottage at Benedict Farms is a quaint farmhouse (circa 1902) located near Crawford, just minutes outside of Waco. The Cottage is located on our family farm. Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Just minutes away from all the Waco area attractions, at Woodway, Texas. Newly upgraded shower and floors. Featuring an open space with a queen size bed, a full size futon, and a cute nook with a twin bed. Kitchen includes a microwave, toaster oven, two cooktop burners, and instant pot. A full size refrigerator/freezer completes this home-away-from-home space. Amenities include free Internet access/WiFi, an outdoor grill and a picnic table.

Cozy Cabin in the Country 101

Come enjoy the sunset on the porch of this modern cabin located in the country away from the hustle and noise of the city. Our cabin is located in a field next to grazing livestock. This cabin offers plenty of patio seating, a king size bed and a loft with twin beds. Our kitchenette is equipped with a hot plate and basic utensils for preparing a simple meal. A microwave and mini fridge are included. There is not an oven. There is a gas grill which is shared with both cabins.

The German Schmear Cottage

The German Schmear Cottage is tucked away on a quiet street in the Mountainview area. It is centrally located (HEB, Target, and Starbucks are right down the road) and only 10-15 minutes from downtown, the Silos, and Baylor. Once a detached garage, this 400 square foot space is now a cozy, modern living space and is on the property of the main German Schmear (fixer upper) house, which is also a vacation rental. Farm View Guesthouse

We took about 6 months off from hosting, but are happy to be offering our place again. Take a break and unwind at our peaceful oasis. Though we're just one mile out of McGregor and 20 miles from downtown Waco, you will feel like you've gotten away from it all. We have 23 lovely acres with a spring-fed creek, a quarry pond, and lots of friendly animals to talk to. Your apartment was built in 2017 and set apart from the main house. We are here if you need anything at all.

The house is nestled in the large pecan trees with a full sized swing set. You can also enjoy the deck right outside your door.

While staying at this small and cozy guesthouse situated on a small farmstead, you will be 20 minutes from magnolia and the silos and just 8 minutes from Homestead Heritage. While not being in Waco, this guesthouse is only a few minutes from I35 so your trip into town will be very convenient. If you’re looking for a Farm stay getaway or even just a quiet night with a country feel, this will be the place for you!
