You should stay at their place if you go to Monsanto. Célia and Luís are great hosts. We and our dog had a very good time with them. They are lovely and explain a lot about the sphidden gems of the town. They go the extra mile to make sure you are fully satisfied. We would definitely go there again. Thank you so much!

Celia and Luis are fantastic hosts that didn't measure efforts to make our stay wonderful. As soon as we arrived in Monsanto village we could check-in early and they provided us a huge and delicious Portuguese lunch for 15 euros. The town is so unique and beautiful- definitely worth the drive. Celia was a lovely hostess and was always ready to assist us. We really appreciated the rustic nature, scenery, and once in a lifetime experience with the town and apartment.

This is a wonderful and different sort of apartment, comfortable and in a great location. Celia and Luis were incredibly helpful, not only providing all our needs but also many suggestions for what to do and where to go, not to mention glasses of port and vegetables from their gardens. Just one thing to keep in mind--this is an attic apartment with sloping ceilings. I'm of average height and I hit my head several times. It was well worth it.

Historic Monsanto with a personal touch. Monsanto is a magical place. Yes, it is partly because it's basically a city carved out of a rock, and the views will take your breath away. This is a cool little upstairs apartment for our group of three travellers. The location is right in the middle of town, with good walking distance to the Castelo. In the morning, Celia freshly juiced some of their oranges and made espresso before we hit the road. We’d all stay here again.

A beautifully restored and remodelled traditional house in an absolutely unique World Heritage village. The hosts are warm, friendly and very supportive. It was a pleasure to stay with them.
