Kathy's apt. was my first airbnb experience, and I'm not sure it can be topped. It was the perfect location. I loved having her cats Hazel and Lily to come home to. The studio is spectacular, and being surrounded by Kathy's art was truly special.
Really loved staying at Kathy's apartment! Couldn't ask for a better location. So central! Blocks from Eataly & the Flatiron district and easy access to anywhere in the city/Brooklyn.
The apartment was clean and bed was super comfortable. Her studio is also amazing and her pottery is gorgeous! My sister ended up buying two mugs to commemorate our stay at her apartment.
Really had a great time and look forward to hopefully staying at Kathy's again!
Kathy's place was great. Comfortable, clean and perfect location. Really cool to be around all her amazing ceramics and studio. Would book again for sure.
Kathy's apartment was the perfect spot for my out-of-town family to stay. The open kitchen and living room was spacious and very comfortable while decorated with Kathy's amazing ceramic pieces everywhere. The location was convenient to everything and Kathy provided a list of restaurants and neighborhood tips that were helpful to getting settled. The apartment was very clean and organized, the only critique was the lack of natural sunlight during the day. All in all, it was a great stay. Thanks!
Kathy is so sweet, and the loft is gorgeous! It looks exactly like the photos. Very spacious by NYC standards. She had plenty of clean linens and towels, and it was also nice having a washer and dryer in the unit. Lots of restaurants and shopping nearby, and the area is vibrant overall. We had a great time, and would definitely love to stay there again. Oh, and her pottery pieces are very cool and beautiful. Worth admiring :)
Very comfortable 1 bedroom apt in a great location. You are just a short walk from Union Sq and the subway and only a slightly longer walk to the Highline Trail which is great for jogging or just walking and enjoying the city views. Living room has a sofa-bed that worked well for us. Kathy was very accommodating. The windows have no views and let in only indirect light - you can barely see the sky from the windows but this is NYC with tall buildings everywhere.
Kathy's place is awesome, and so is Kathy! It's clean, super spacious, well designed, and really makes you feel at home. The location was the best part, being so close to union square and the subway, and smack in between midtown and downtown.
I was there for a week and her place made me want to move to NYC. I plan on staying there every time I come back to NY.
We really enjoyed staying in Kathy's place - it is a beautiful and quit apartment situated in a very central location, and decorated with amazing ceramic works. It was a perfect choice for discovering NY and I'm very happy with this experience being a part of our NY trip!
This was my first airbnb experience and it was wonderful! The apartment itself is lovely and its in an exceptional neighborhood and it was exactly what I was hoping for! Thank you!
Great apartment. Very comfortable and with plenty of space, just as shown in the photos. Kathy is a great host. She gave us recommendations of places we could go in the area and she is very reliable. The apartment has a great location, one block away from the subway, and surrounded by places to eat, supermarkets and stores like GAP, H&M, Banana Republic, Zara, Forever 21, Best buy, etc. It is a great apartment to rent for your stay in NYC
