I have been a meditation teacher and energy healer for many years, primarily practicing out of my home. I am 63 years old, and I enjoy being with people and cooking when I want to; I enjoy my organic vegetable garden, /walking and hiking, Prairie Home Companion, and a relatively quiet lifestyle. I am excited about Restorative Justice and hope to contribute to reducing violence in our world by learning new ways to work through conflict and helping others to do that too.
I hope that people who stay at my home will rest comfortably and enjoy the healthy, quiet, peaceful atmosphere of our property and home. And maybe become new friends.

I love to travel to new places, the most recent new place being Gloucester Mass, this past summer. The most far away place I have been to was Turkey in 1968, without a whole lot of traveling since then but I have been to France, England, Italy, Scotland, Toronto, Nova Scotia, Cape Cod,and was born in Brooklyn.
When I listen to music, I enjoy Mozart, Vivaldi, and other classics. I don't enjoy cut up versions of them. I enjoy jazz that's more harmonic than jarring and that goes for music in general for me. I love Broadway musicals, know little about opera and getting more curious about it as I age. In the mood, I can enjoy country, 60's music, and anything nonviolent that I can dance to. I watch old movies more than see new ones, subtitles are okay....violence not.
Awareness Meditation, buddhism (yes, I know I wrote that with a small b), Oneness Blessings, Circle of Friends, Nonviolent Communication and Restorative Circles contribute daily to my spiritual well-being and help keep me open to life and what comes my way.
