I'm originally from Sydney, Australia but have spent the past eight years living, studying and working overseas in Salamanca (Spain), Monterrey (Mexico), New York, Los Angeles, Dili (Timor-Leste), and currently Mexico City. I work in the fields of international relations and international development, and am currently volunteering as a Kiva Fellow, working with two of Kiva's microfinance fied partners in Mexico. Things that are making me happy today include: sunshine, pink bananas, fresh berries and figs, drinking horchata, vegetarian tacos, cycling, Vanity Fair, the New Yorker, and planning my travels in the US for August.
I used to have to travel a lot for work, and got very tired of staying in bland, boring business hotels. I am a low maintenance, laidback and respectful house guest.
