The space offers one bedroom with a queen bed, loft with 2 full beds, and a sofa bed accommodating up to six guests comfortably. Enjoy the firepit, hammock, grill, horseshoes, fishing poles, boat ramp close & view.

Located just 2 hours from Houston, our little lake house retreat is the perfect getaway. The Ponderosa is relaxing and peaceful for anyone. If you need more space, we have outdoor areas for RVs or tents. This is a great space for gatherings such as: crawfish boils, family reunions, birthdays, a romantic couple getaway or a family escape from everyday life. Come out and enjoy nature and look at the stars at the Ponderosa. Lake Sam Rayburn is 35 min., Steinhagen Reservoir is 10 min. away and Big Thicket National Game preserve is minutes away. Shooting on property needs approval.

This is a newly constructed cabin located on the Angelina River. Quiet surrounding and just minutes away from the South end of Lake Sam Rayburn and the Umphrey Family Pavilion. This is a newly renovated guest cabin located on a 70 acre ranch with access to walking trails, the Theuvinin creek for fishing and three miles from the start of the National Park Service Turkey Creek trail and the Pitcher Plant Trail. During summer months the park service has night hikes, canoeing, star gazing and free fishing days. Microwave oven available. Cabin accommodates 4 guest with a minimum of a four night stay. Cabin is nonsmoking.
