Charming and rustic cabin on the Bitterroot River. Walk down and fly-fish off the bank. Float from town right to the property. Best duck hunting with natural blinds. Have your morning coffee in the hot tub looking out at the mountains and the Bitterroot Valley. BBQ on the deck and watch the sun go down every night. Lots of light and large windows to see the scenery. Only 20 miles to Missoula and Hamilton, Montana. (We love dogs, but please do not just bring your pet -- inquire first please.)

You will be close to everything in this centrally located 2 bedroom home. Have kids: large dinosaur bone park is 1 block away. Feel like a walk or bike ride: hop on the paved bike path and ride downtown, to the minor league baseball game , or along the scenic River path. Costco, Albertson's Grocery Store, and Super Walmart are a 5 minute drive away. Airport is 10-15 minutes away. University is 10 minutes away. Outdoor recreation and local places to eat are available in all directions.

The location is a quiet street in the Rattlesnake area walking distance (less than 1 mile) from downtown Missoula, the University of Montana and the Clark Fork River and only a couple of blocks from several major trailheads. Features: full kitchen with range, fridge, and microwave; dining area; full bathroom; and queen size bed. The carriage house is located above the garage with alley access and off street parking. Guests have access to the new side deck with seating and gas BBQ grill.

Two spacious bedrooms, a large bathroom, living room, and full custom walnut kitchen with all new stainless appliances and a laundry room. Very peaceful, secure and quiet. The road is a Montana style dirt road. When there is NO snow any car will make it up the hill. In Winter you will need a four wheel vehicle. We snowplow the road as necessary in winter. We are Pet friendly.

Surrounded by massive trees and nature and minutes to mountain biking, hiking, boating and fishing the hosts can point you in the right direction.
