Coldstream Estate - The Whare

With its historic charm, The Whare is a great property for couples wanting to escape to the country, a family break away, or tourists looking to experience an authentic experience on a working farm. It offers an over-sized master bedroom which features a glorious super-king bed, as well as two small bedrooms each with king singles, all with quality linen. It's fully equipped with a fabulous large open-plan kitchen and dining room complete with cosy open fire, seperate bathroom featuring a clawfoot bath, full laundry facilities and a snug area with log burner. There is also a large outdoor area with barbecue for those long summer evenings, as well as a well-stocked library of books, flat screen TV with SKY TV and DVDs available to bide time on those lazy days. Free wifi is also available. A breakfast hamper is also included featuring homemade granola, bread, milk, butter and other local treats. Tea and coffee, as well as other kitchen basics are also included.

Enjoy a starry chocolate treat on arrival then head outside to relax in the hammock or take a drive down the famous Mackenzie Starlight Highway to soak up the glacier lake views at Lake Tekapo and starry night skies at Mt. John Observatory. Back to Lucky Star Cottage - fall asleep beneath the stars: Stargaze from the comfort of your own bed, through the master bedroom roof windows . Fill up on a free breakfast (including our very own free range eggs) before you leave. Have a WONDER-FULL stay!!

Relaxed Countryside Escape Near Pleasant Point.

Enjoy a peaceful stay in our two bedroom country cottage just minutes from Pleasant Point. Wake up to paddock views, relax outside with a coffee or head out for a day exploring South Canterbury. Close to town, the bike trail, Levels Raceway, and local ski fields : Mt Dobson (1 hr), Fox Peak (1 hr 10 min), Roundhill (1 hr 30 min), and Ōhau (2 hrs) approximately. The cottage has a well equipped kitchen, washing machine, one double bed, one single bed and a sofa bed. Pets are welcome by request.

Mountain View Farm Hideaway

Conveniently located just one kilometre from Fairlie township and a short 25 minute drive to Lake Tekapo. Enjoy rural views, quiet peaceful surroundings and plenty of parking. Step out to a secluded patio with lush planting and privacy to enjoy a morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. While you will need to take a short walk to appreciate full views of the mountains you can enjoy views of the garden, surrounding hills and paddocks from the windows of the spacious living and dining area.

Green Door Studio

Enjoy the fresh and colourful vibe of this fully decorated studio. It has a queen and single bedroom ( with two single beds ) and a bright kitchenette, dining, living space with couch and freeview tv. It is fully self contained and has its own entrance but is attached to the main house where the hosts live. The kitchenette has a microwave and small appliances for basic cooking/reheating but is not suitable for every night cooking as there is no ventilation for strong odours.

Willow Retreat, just bliss! Outdoor bath on deck.

Nestled in its very own private courtyard, Willow Retreat with its delightful ambience, ( slide the gate across) Newly built with elegant interior, and coffee bar is the perfect place to escape. Sit on the verandah and sip upon a wine or coffee as the evening cools light the outdoor fire and simply enjoy! Take a 3 minute walk to the wonderful shops and cafes on the Fairlie's Main Street and the famous Fairlie Bakehouse.. ( not available for privatemessagein after 7pm. )

Take a day trip to Lake Tekapo (25min) to enjoy Tekapo Springs and Mt John Observatory.

Timaru Central

Built in 1905, and converted to 2 apartments in the 1950's, we live in the other apartment. The apartment is located in Central Timaru, being 5 minutes walk from the central business area and the Caroline Bay beach and facilities. Fully self contained, it suits a range of requirements from a single person staying overnight, to a family wanting a longer stay. Caroline Bay is home to a local small 'Little Blue Penguin' colony.

Fox Cottage

Fox Cottage is a modern 4 bedroom home, situated on Fox Peak Ski Field Road, near Fairlie South Canterbury. Due to its location, Fox Cottage is a perfect holiday destination for anyone who wishes to experience the great outdoors. With the Fox Peak Ski Field and the North Opuha Conservation Park only 10 minutes drive this home is perfect for those interested in tramping, fishing, mountain biking, horse riding or skiing.

Rivendell is a traditional New Zealand villa and is situated in a secluded position with beautiful gardens and offers peace and tranquility.
