The cabin is a destination all on its own. Fish from the pier or banks on the privately managed eight-acre lake. There is a john boat which is quite old, uses paddles, and is in fair shape (feel free to bring your canoe or john boat.). A paddleboat and paddleboard are available for guest use and swimming. Enjoy walking the property and visit the onsite hoop house and orchard for free seasonal fruits and vegetables. Have fun by the outside fire pit roasting marshmallows with friends and family!

Make some memories at this unique and family-friendly place. This home was built from all repurposed materials! Master bedroom has a queen bed with prvt bathroom. Bedroom #2 has a queen bed and set of twin bunks. Bedroom #3 has a full bed & access to outside. 2nd full bath is located in hallway off kitchen. The living room features a sleeper loveseat. The pergola has propane firepit & charcoal grill for outdoor dining. Look from the living room windows & you'll see horses grazing!

Recently remodeled, with community boat launch, boat parking with charging access, central A/C, and a large back porch for grilling and relaxing. Boat dockage is good, with average 6' plus water depth at the end of pier, and Fishing Kayaks are onsite for your paddling pleasure. Come enjoy one of the best views on Lake Dannelly!

Truly a southern jewel, the town is surrounded by picturesque landscapes, making it an ideal spot for nature walks, photography or just a leisurely stroll. It is an absolute paradise for hunting & fishing. Beatrice is tucked away in southwest Alabama, only 18 miles from Historic Monroeville, Literary Capital of Alabama & home of Harper Lee and the play “To Kill a Mockingbird”.

The Rusty Brick Studio

Come relax at this unique, cozy studio and enjoy a quiet farm setting. The studio is located a mile from Newbern, along a main hwy 10 miles south of Greensboro, 20 east of Demopolis and 50 miles south of Tuscaloosa. The studio has brick floors and the interior wood walls and beams are from reclaimed barn wood. We want our guests to relax with a good cup of coffee, a great night's sleep and time to enjoy an Alabama sunset from the front porch chairs!

Relax with the family at this peaceful cabin on McDowell Lake. Access to both the Lake and the Alabama River. Enjoy boating and fishing. Minutes from Cahaba Forever Wild hunting tract. Fifteen minutes from Selma. Grill, firepit and picnic table outside. Fishing is free to guests and a peddle boat is available to use in the Lake. Kitchen has a gas stove, refrigerator, coffee makers, microwave, dishes, pot and pans. Sheets and towels provided.
