Also has a bar with tables and bar stools, plus white table cloth dining area, excellent food. Staff are friendly and provide great service.

Part of the Lincoln Center Complex, which is well worth exploring, Metropolitan Opera, Theaters, shopping mall, a plethora of restaurants all opposite a great place to end your day after an afternoon in Central Park!

Five minutes from my place a 585 Acre (2.37 km) Urban Park. Main attractions of the park include the 90acre Long Meadow. Prospect Park Zoo a large nature conservatory, the Boathouse housing a visitors center and the first urban Audubon Center, and a small cafe to get a cup of tea or coffee and a snack, tables and chairs on a board walk all facing a lake that covers 60 acres where you can take boat rides and see the ducks and swans and also fish. Walk across a charming bridge from one side to the other. Prospect Park Bandshell which hosts free outdoor concerts in the summertime. The Park also has sports facilities, basseball fields in the Long Meadow and The Prospect Park Tennis Center, basketball courts. You can rent a City Bike and ride around the peripheral of the whole park or jog along the same road. There are paths through acres of woodlands to stroll or jog along, streams and waterfalls running through everything, the foliage in the Autumn is truly splendid, magnificent trees surround the Long Meadow, you can find secret places to make your own and enjoy the peace and quiet. In the spring Magnolia and Cherry Blossom trees abound, and daffodils are everywhere. Enjoy a picnic from spring to December, yes it's warm enough here! As winter creeps in and the snow falls, out come the toboggans and skis! Children and adults alike have the time of their lives on the slopes; some steep; some gentle; but all loads of fun!

The Steinhart Conservatory houses three climate controlled pavilions for tropical, warm temperate, and desert floras. Also located here are the Bonsai Museum, an art gallery, the Robert W. Wilson Aquatic House, with it's collections of tropical water plants, insect eating plants, and orchids; and the Steven K-M Tim Tail of Evolution, which traces the history of plant evolution and the effects of climate change over 31/2 billion years! The Garden features several brooks/streams, small meadows, with over 12,000 species of plants, trees, shrubs etc., a wonderful place to wonder and stroll through, relax and muse.
The Garden also has an overlook over the Cherry Esplanade that allows visitors to get a holistic view of the Cherry Esplanade and Garden. The overlook is also a great place for birdwatching or observing other wild life in the Garden.
