Bobby Sue’s Ice Cream Shop (20/25 minute drive)- 70 Eaton Road in Freedom – Homemade Ice Cream – BEST in the area. All the other ice cream places serve either Richardson’s, Hershey’s or Hood. Bobby Sue’s is the only one the makes their own. You can also buy Bobby Sue’s Ice Cream at Trail’s End Ice Cream on Route 302 in Intervale, which is close to downtown North Conway. Bobby Sue’s in Freedom is a little out of the way.
