Baratti & San Vincenzo beaches – headland separates one from the other. Barati is the site of a current Etruscan dig on the way down to the beach. Beach is pretty cool …..horse shoe shaped with trees in the background ….something classical about it. San Vincenzo is easiest for parking with a mix of metered and free. Nudist and Gay parts(signposted) but for the most part family. Go as far down as you like …within a mile of the headland it tends to be less populated. Advise beach trips Mon to Fri arrive anytime. Italians love the sun so travel early on Saturdays and Sundays. You would need to be there by 10.00 am at the latest for parking. Travel Time 50Mins-1Hr 10 depending on day and traffic.
