From my appartment you can walk trough the Vondelpark and the PC Hooftstraat ( famous shopping street, with all the luxury brands to the Museum Square where all the main Museums Are The Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh Museum, Moco and Stedelijk ( both modern art )museum, but als het Concertgebouw, ( famous concerthall) this is a interesting 30 minutes walk.

This is typically a museum that is nice to visit with kids. They often have lovely workshops for children, but think they will need advance reservations because of Covid
