“"Founded in 1928, the Gate Theatre is considered by many to be Dublin's home for great European and American theatre, as well as classics from the modern and Irish repertoire. A space rich with history, it was at the Gate that Orson Welles, James Mason, Geraldine Fitzgerald and Michael Gambon began their prodigious acting careers. Award-winning director Selina Cartmell has served as Artistic Director of the Gate since April 2017".”

“The historical Charlemont House (1908) is home to The Dublin City Gallery also known as the Hugh Lane after the Irish born art collector. He left two wills one bequeathing his entire collection firstly to the National Gallery in London and later to The Dublin City Gallery. So what this means to us is that 4 of its 8 masterpieces are in Dublin until 2021 : Les Parapluies by Renoir Eva Gonzales by Manet Jour d ete by Morisot and View of Louveciennes by Picasso Unmissable also are the bejeweled Harry Clarke Stained glass window display and the entire chaotic studio of Francis Bacon exactly as he left it. ”

“The building next to the departure point for the 747 airport express bus service is the Dublin Bus Customer Care Centre. Information & ticket office for all Dublin Bus services and LEAP card top-up. LEAP cards can also be purchased/topped up at convenience stores, including "Wright's Food Fare" in the airport car park (across the street from the exit from arrivals hall) - continue through to the other side of the carpark to find stop No. 7347 for regular (cheaper!) services on routes 16 & 41 To City.”
