The municipality of Teror is located right in the middle of the island. It's historic center is one of the most spectacular in Gran Canaria , with legendary pedestrian streets, houses with wooden balconies, cast iron, balustrades and tiles the round off the facades of traditional Canariaian architecture, full of color and harmony. As for the local cuisine , the famous Teror chorizo is well worth trying for all you meat lovers . The basilica of El Pino is the most blematic monument in Villa de Teror. It dates back to 1760 and is home to the carving of the Virgin of El Pino , the patron Saint of the diocese of the canary Islands. The basilicais located in the main square of the village, Plaza del Pino . A must visit !
