This is set on a beautiful part of the river. There is an old hospital that was abandoned for many year a well as a park that use to be an Indian Burial ground on the premises. The museum costs $ but the park and view are free!

My what you can do with metal! Beautiful sculptures, and other objects d’art! While you’re here, try Bluff River Crossing!

The view of the Mississippi River from the sculpture garden is really spectacular. The museum itself has beautiful sculptures and metalwork.

This museum falls into both the "cool" and "weird" categories. We like both of those categories a lot.

“This museum tells the story of how Memphis came to be. Engaging exhibits help visitors understand our city's place in time and explain how the art, history and music that is so important to our culture evolved from the confluence of people that were originally gathered here around the cotton industry. ”

“Honor the rock legend by dining and drinking at his namesake club on Beale Street. There are multiple bars and areas, including a Flaming Fountain courtyard, the casual "backstage bar," plus balcony seating for the best view of Beale on the whole street.”
