At Den gamle Kro in Gråsten, 10 km fra Brunsnæs, you can taste as many as 29 different cakes, many of them local, such as Brødtort, Striftort og Stopkach. Sønderjysk Kagebord is VERY popular so you will have to make a reservation at the Kro home page. Sønderjysk Kaffebord is served each month on the second Sunday and in July also every Monday. You really should try! Probably you will also enjoy the traditional building.
