Unparalleled off-the-grid living in the outer Queen Charlotte Sounds in an original mussel farm barn renovated into boutique accommodation with three ensuite bedrooms, two reception rooms and an equipped kitchen nestled in acres of regenerating native bush with a short walk to the sea. Get here using your own boat or transfer by helicopter, water taxi or the Beachcomber Mailboat that leaves Picton every Wednesday. The mailboat can also deliver stores ordered online through Picton Fresh Choice.

Musterers Quarters

Once a working Wool Shed the Musterers Quarters have been tastefully converted into an accomodation unit sleeping 8, bathroom facilities with a shower and toilet and heated towel rail. A functioning kitchen with range, microwave, jug, toaster etc. There is a large dining living area with a log burner and heat pumps. All bedding and towels are supplied. A large deck provides out door seating to enjoy the magnificent views. A hot tub is available BUY PRIOR ARRANGEMENT and is an additional cost

The Lavender Cottage is located adjacent to our lavender fields. A former hay barn has been completely renovated with a macrocarpa interior from wood milled on the farm. The cottage features a full kitchen, shower, flush toilet, TV, fibre, and WiFi. There is plenty of outdoor space to have a BBQ and enjoy the views through to Akaroa Harbour. Inner-city studio with parking "The Stables 1"

This studio room features a queen bed, an en-suite bathroom with under-floor heating, and a kitchen (please see house rules for restrictions) along with a high standard of comfort provided by double-glazed windows and doors, full insulation and a heatpump to keep you comfortable during the colder part of the year. There is an adjacent studio very similar in set-up with a queen and a single bed. Off-street car parking is available right outside, but it is unsuitable for oversized vehicles.
