Welcome to our well appointed private, sunny sleep out with large deck, park views, ensuite bathroom, fridge, microwave and tea/coffee facilities. A short stroll to city hub, bus depot and Trafalgar Centre, with a supermarket just down the street. The Airport bus stops just around the corner every 40 minutes, seven days a week. It stops near Tahunanui Beach on the way too. NB - you will need a Bee card or cash. Self check-in is offered and early check-in or late check-out can often be arranged.

Awaroa - Abel Tasman National Park

The Abel Tasman is one of "NZ's 8 Great Walks". The beautiful golden sands and pristine waters of Awaroa Inlet, and the Abel Tasman track are on our doorstep. Our Awaroa beachfront property is located on the edge of the Abel Tasman National Park and the Cottage is nestled in our back garden. The cottage is not seaward-facing, only a few steps to the beach. We have a Necky Looksha 19ft Ocean double kayak, life jackets, dry bags, free to use to explore the estuary, the river or Awaroa Bay.

Beautiful Tata Beach, Golden Bay. Our little cottage is tucked close into Tata Beach, just a short stroll for your morning dip. Warm and sunny, this clean and easy care space is the perfect place to come to unwind, relax and allow nature to wrap its blanket around you. We have kept the space simple and uncluttered and love the simplicity of the cottage. With some recycled building products, no fussy modern ornaments, no chairs and tables this is a small and uncomplicated place to relax.

Karaka Studio on Manuka Island Nelson/Tasman

Karaka studio is on the very edge of the Waimea Inlet with water twenty metres from your front door. Lie in bed and watch the tide come in. We are a private estuary island (Manuka Island) but we have drive on access at all times, 25 minutes to Nelson and Motueka. Rabbit Island beach(4km) and Taste Nelson Cycle Trail is a km from our gate. We are central to vineyards, cafes, 3/4 hour to Abel Tasman National park. We have amazing sea, rural , and mountain views. Total privacy assured.

Our unique Flax Pod cabin is a repurposed shipping container with epic views of Golden Bay. It suits a relaxed couple, has a comfy queen bed, sofa and kitchenette. Large bi-folding doors open onto a deck where you can totally relax, enjoy a cold beer, and soak up the sea views. Its in a great location and a great base to explore Golden Bay from. Enjoy getting back to the basics, dozing in a hammock, a unique outdoor hot tub, a friendly weka or two and a spectacular night sky.

Our log cabin is located on a 50acre lifestyle farm in a hidden valley an hour south of Nelson and 40 minutes north of Murchison. It is peaceful and private with stunning mountain views and space to relax. With no traffic noise, the only sounds you will hear are the native birdsong and the Hope River running gently beside the property. NO Discrimination - everybody is welcome here.

Te Whare o Kea provides simple shelter for trampers, bikers and other nature lovers. The location also makes it perfect for a retreat. A non profit social enterprise and a Gold Kea Sponsor, guest stays have enabled over $20,000 worth of donations to the Kea Conservation Trust. It also supports monitoring of kea nest sites in the Cobb Valley and maintains a 17 trap trapline.
