Full size bed, fully equipped kitchen,BBQ/patio, high speed internet, dish TV. 10 minutes to Taos Ski Valley. 10 minutes to village of Arroyo Seco. 20 minutes to Taos Plaza. Must be comfortable sharing a bath house with other guests on the property and heating with a wood stove. May need 4WD/AWD if it snows.

The Rock Art Retreat

A gorgeous estate full of colorful artwork and Native American petroglyphs inside private garden walls. This sprawling adobe home is surrounded by hundreds of acres of undeveloped land. It was built in the early 1800s by Spanish settlers and over time has been stunningly remodeled. Quixote’s Canyon is named as an homage to its Spanish history and the metal sculpture of famed Spanish literary character, Don Quixote, (yes, the windmill fighting guy) who welcomes you at the entrance.

Wildrose Room

Located 2 blocks from Taos Plaza with a daily gourmet breakfast. Wildrose is a cozy second floor micro-queen room with thick adobe walls, kiva fireplace, high ceiling, and view of the historic La Loma Plaza. This small room features a custom mural and is painted in subtle pinks, accented with willow stick shutters and matching headboard. The vanity adjoins the bedroom with two steps leading up to the Mexican tiled bath with tub/shower. Pets are not allowed in this room.
