Hancock, Frenchman's Bay Cottage

Frenchman’s Bay is right outside your window. With spectacular 180° views of Frenchman’s Bay and Mount Desert Island, this cottage is the perfect place to experience the best of coastal Maine. Located in the well-known community of Hancock Point, you’ll enjoy easy access to Acadia National Park and nearby attractions—all while soaking in a peaceful, quiet, and scenic setting. Spend your days hiking, biking, sailing, or kayaking—or simply relax and take in the ever-changing ocean views. The cottage features an open-concept living, dining, and kitchen area, with two large sliding glass doors that look directly out onto the water. The kitchen is fully equipped with a full-size refrigerator, stove with microwave, Keurig, double sink, and ample counter space. You’ll also find plenty of cookware, utensils, dishes, and a gas grill for outdoor meals. The primary bedroom offers a comfortable king-size bed, generous closet space, and a full bathroom with a walk-in shower. The second bedroom includes two twin beds (a daybed with a trundle), suitable for both children and adults. Linens are provided. Additional amenities include Wi-Fi, TVs with Blu-ray and a window A/C unit if needed. An outdoor shower with hot water has also been recently added—perfect after a day at the beach. Please note: This is a non-smoking property. Due to a rock wall with approximately a 10-foot drop, the cottage may not be suitable for toddlers or very young children. Edgewater Cabins #2

Edgewater is centrally located off of Route 1 (Schoodic Scenic By-way) in Sullivan Harbor. You can enjoy our beach and picnic tables on the wharf while surrounded by amazing views. You will find a tennis court just a short walk up our driveway. Nearby there are restaurants, local hiking trails, and Acadia National Park (20 min to Schoodic Point and 35 min to Acadia on Mount Desert Island). Boat rides around Frenchman's Bay are available from our dock. There's a 3 night minimum stay in Cabin 2.

Luxurious Newly Renovated Ocean Front Cottage

A stunning, historic cottage that has been fully renovated in 2023 to bring it up to modern times while keeping the authenticity of this beautiful spot. Private waterfront with amazing ocean views from the deck, it's a wonderful place to relax and reconnect to the natural world. We have completely re-done both the interior and the exterior, with all new beds, bedding, bathroom and wood floors. A lot of love and care has gone into the house that we hope our guests will feel when they stay!

Treetop Loft at Crabtree Neck Cottages

Pets negotiable. MUST DISCUSS BEFORE YOU REQUEST. Crate trained pets allowed for a fee. DISCOUNT for over 3 nights or dogs under 12 lbs. Ask! Pets come by prior arrangement only. Treetop sleeps 2, or 3 in a pinch. Must discuss well behaved children 6 or older as the deck is high. Owners/guests use garage/laundry below the studio. Our family is excited to share our tiny house with you! Located on our artist collective farm, this is our favorite place on earth. It’s off grid, cottage core, and has a beautiful & fragrant cedar sauna. We are 27 minutes from Acadia National Park and surrounded by truly gorgeous local beaches. We offer super comfy beds, an outdoor shower, twinkle lights, summer nights filled with fireflies, bright maples in the fall, and cozy winter movie nights in a bed alcove like on a boat.

Lillebo

Lillebo is set near the end of a dead end road with a five minute walk yielding views over Frenchman's bay with Sorrento in the near view and Winter Harbor and Bar Harbor in the long view. This homey house is set about 200 feet from the road with no neighbors in direct view. There’s a screen porch on one end of the house and a garage on the other. In the garage there is a ping pong table, corn hole, darts and bikes. There are three adult bikes, one youth bike and one kids bike.

Long Cove Hideaway

Escape the tourist madness of Bar Harbor at your own private tidal cove. Camp with the comforts of home, water, power and Wifi. Outdoor grill, awning and lobster cooker for the complete Maine experience. After a hard day of hiking relax by fire pit. The Schoodic National Scenic Byway is on the far side of Long Cove, and you can hear some traffic noise from outside the RV, but for complete silence check out my other two places by looking at "about me" on my profile.

Our cabin is a 2 min. walk to the rocky shore of Frenchman Bay. We are half way between Acadia National Park, 45 minutes away and Schoodic Peninsula, 20 minutes away. Our cabin is cozy and peaceful. Full kitchen and a gas fireplace for your enjoyment along with a compfy bed and a compfy futon in living room. It is a romantic hideaway from the world with everything you need right here. Wake up to a breathtaking sunrise, listen to the loons sing, watch the seals swim up to the rocks as the tide comes in, or cook s'mores in the firepit by the stars.

The Goose Garden

Come and explore the other side of Acadia National Park. This serene one room getaway is located very close to many scenic views and numerous small trail heads by the Schoodic Peninsula including Tidal Falls Preserve (less than 2 miles away). Pick your own blueberries (when in season) and walk to the ocean . Located 40 minutes drive from Acadia National Park on MDI and 20 min drive to Schoodic Point.

Meadow Point Cottage

Meadow Point cottage is located on a very quiet five acre property with panoramic views of Frenchman's Bay and Mount Desert Island. It takes about thirty minutes to drive over to MDI and Acadia National Park. The property has a private beach for kayaking and woods with a picnic area and fire pit. It is a wonderful spot for walking and viewing wildlife; ducks, eagles, shore birds, seals and deer.
