The beamed ceilings, stonewalls and oak floors all add to the character and charm of this 19th century farmhouse. Whilst being a very relaxing and welcoming house for families it is also the perfect location for friends who wish to have a break away. Four legged friends also welcome (2 dogs max) with large front and side garden/lawn **Please note- there is an additional charge of £75 for the wood fired hot tub. It needs to be requested and paid 24 hrs before arrival or it will not be available*

'The Byre' a 1 Bedroom Cottage in the Countryside

The Byre at Butterywells Farm is a converted byre located next to our farmhouse, which dates back over two hundred years. The Byre is a fully equipped self catering holiday cottage with many original features. The Byre is wheelchair accessible with its own parking area. Set in 2 acres of mature gardens containing walks, secluded seating areas and a small lochan. Experience country living whilst only being a 15 min drive from the centre of Aberdeen. Not just dogs are welcome but horses too.

An enchanting cottage, set in it's own private, fully fenced , idyllic, secluded garden ;a haven for wildlife. The Location offer's uninterrupted views over surrounding, countryside . Large terrace with bird feeders. The accommodation is light and airy ,spread over two levels. Downstairs ;an open plan kitchen with French doors onto terrace, utility, Double bedroom with ensuite bathroom, W.C , hall . Upstairs Double bedroom ensuite shower room. Single bedroom. Lounge with wood burner .

Idyllic Farmhouse in Stunning Deeside Location

Blackness Farmhouse is a traditional cottage still retaining many of its original features. Bathrooms and kitchen have been modernized, open fires replaced for wood burners and carpeting added to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The cottage was our home while we converted the nearby barns into our new house. and although storage was tight for a busy family of 6, we loved our time living there and always felt it would make a perfect holiday home.
