Family Beach Cottage

Third generation family cottage with beach, private hot tub on the deck and amazing views of Tomales Bay. The gravel frontage road leading from State Route 1 to the Beach Cottage was once part of the narrow gauge railroad that took vacationers, farm animals and lumber up and down the coast from 1871 to 1930. If you need more space, you can also book our Rustic Beach Cottage, which is directly next door and offers 2 bedrooms and 1 bath, as well as its own outdoor hot tub and fabulous bay view.

Fully updated with a curated mix of vintage and modern furnishings - our cottage has a mid-century design sensibility with luxuries like Coyuchi towels, a chef's kitchen, Scandinavian fireplace, outdoor rain shower, cedar hot tub, and new heated stone loveseat on the upstairs deck.

Relax in one of two living areas or on one of the decks, and toast the sunset with local wines. Walk along sandy Dillon Beach, hike to the estero, fish from the many coves, kayak, surf, paddleboard or kiteboard at the beach, eat oysters from the pristine Tomales Bay, or curl up with a book on the couch.
