Our little house is situated on an acre & a half of land surrounded by wetlands and woods yet minutes from local colleges and amenities. Enjoy the beautiful night sky while relaxing by the fire pit. Or take in the woodland view from your deck with your morning coffee and yoga workout (mat provided). Deer, turkeys, bunnies, & many native birds are regular visitors. Amazing sunrises and colorful sunsets. The location and amenities make for a fantastic romantic getaway for two! Centrally located 30 minutes from the Mohegan Casino.

Wake up to the morning sun over the lake in the loft, or rise after the sun in one of the two back bedrooms. Enjoy a morning coffee or tea while enjoying the lake view from the live edge bar top overlooking the water and watch for the Swans, Bald Eagles, and Blue Herons. After a hike on the trails, kayaking up the lake into conservation land, or fishing off the dock, relax in the hot tub. As the sun sets over the trees cuddle up on the couch with a good book and keep an ear out for the owls.

The Basketball Hall of Fame, MGM Casino, Dr. Seuss Museum, Six Flags, The Big E, Springfield Symphony Orchestra, just a few of the area attractions. Great restaurants and grocery shopping nearby.

The house is set on a quiet road in the middle of fields, woods, gardens, and hiking trails. it is secluded with easy access to the natural world. The rooms are book-lined and filled with family objects. It is close to Berkshire East for skiing and snowboarding in the winter and whitewater rafting and swimming in the summer. Mass MoCA and the Clark Museum are within an easy drive.

South Quarter House

Built in the early 1800s, our renovated farm house can accommodate families and friends comfortably. This 1600 square foot home can keep everyone together: three large bedrooms upstairs and an optional fourth downstairs. Large backyard and deck made for outside fun. Two full bathrooms, laundry, large farm table with seating for 10, and a full kitchen. Plenty of options for hiking at or near the house. (Sorry, we are not able to host weddings.)
