Cozy, energy efficient new construction for a better world. Located in the hip SE Hawthorne neighborhood on a quiet residential street and at the foot of Mt Tabor, this custom house provides a luxurious and convenient studio for relaxed stays and enjoyment of all that Portland has to offer. We designed this studio specifically for visitors who want the ease and security of a private entrance, the warmth (or coolness) of radiant-floor temperature control, and comfort. Two blocks from Ladds Rose Gardens, Clinton Street (several cool bars, patios, Loyly spa, and theater!) and Division Street - home to some of the city's best restaurants — Ava Gene, Omas, Fairweather, Quaintrelle, and more. My home is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families. Enjoy the extensive record collection (old blues, rock, and jazz), relax in the covered outdoor patio and spa, and enjoy the well stocked kitchen.

You will have full reign of the top (street)level of the home. Host lives downstairs in the sun basement. You are the only ones who will enter through the front door, and you’ll have a reserved parking space in the double driveway. Your private space includes a double queen bedroom, a full bathroom with a jetted bath and shower, a fully equipped kitchen, dining/living room with wood burning fireplace and stunning views, a full laundry room, a wrap around deck with outdoor table and chairs.

Walk or bike down Division/Clinton, through gorgeous Ladd's Addition, or across the Tilikum Bridge to get everywhere in Portland! Pets are welcome, no fee!

Charming, remodeled, clean one-bedroom basement apartment with some natural light. Private entrance and patio. In a quiet, safe SE neighborhood central for exploring Portland. Walk to Mt. Tabor Park. Furnished in mid-century style, with high-end cotton linens, bedding and towels; full kitchen and bathroom. Large flat-screen TV, full Cable, HBO, etc. Very reliable WiFi. Our basement has been newly renovated. Brand new bedroom, beautiful bathroom and living space. The living space includes a 57” Smart TV and couch. The wet bar features a mini fridge, sink and Keurig Coffee maker. The bedroom has 1 queen sized bed with hotel luxury 1800 bedding sheets, a dresser, full length mirror and natural light window. Our house is centrally located with dozens of restaurants, bars and coffee shops just a short walk away!
