Watch as the sun sets over the hill in front of you. Then, above you on a clear night, the Milky Way and a myriad of constellations appear. Truly rested, fall asleep in comfort & silence.

The Old Church, stunning historic venue

Retaining many wonderful original features and set in a semi-rural location, The Old Church features a welcoming wood burner, large bespoke wooden dining table, huge covered south facing deck with fire pit and views over open countryside. The grocery shop is a 5 minute walk, with many restaurants and attractions only a short drive. With two private one bedroom lodges secluded within the grounds and available for rent separately, The Old Church is ideally suited to friends and family gatherings.

The Studio at Drumshang House is a 2 bedroom annex that was an artist studio due to the wonderful views over the Forth of Clyde is approx 8 miles from Ayr and lies on the coast road having walking access to the coast with its beaches and the Coastal Path walk is a place to get away from it all. Nestled on Main Street in the picturesque village of Straiton they are just a stones throw from the local amenities. Sorry strictly no pets.

The Signal Box is a cosy retreat to switch off in nature. On the edge of Galloway Forest Park and within the UNESCO Biosphere, it’s surrounded by wildlife. Culzean Castle and Country Park is a 40-min drive. Nearby, wild swimming is available at Girvan Beach, Galloway Forest Park, and the Water of Minnoch in Glen Trool. Galloway Forest highlights include scenic trails, Bruce’s Stone, and the Red Deer Range. On the edge of the Dark Sky Park, it’s perfect for stargazing.
