Acadia National Park ocean front & garden cottages

Both our houses are designed in the contemporary style. We used custom made decor and cherry tree furniture. A lot of windows, glass doors, bright and open space are inside the house. It is very quiet outside. You most likely will be alone at the beach. We share the whole sea cove with only one neighboring house. It is a pure paradise if you want to live on the beach on your own and within minutes of driving to the main local attractions. You'll be amazed of our botanical garden and landscape.

Classic and charming 1915 camp with modernized amenities (2020) to host groups of up to 6 for minimum one-week getaways to Acadia/ Downeast Maine. Everything you need for your adventure right here at our location in the heart of Southwest Harbor. Open-plan kitchen/dining area to feast after a full day in Acadia National Park, just minutes away. Cozy fire in the stove. Sleep soundly after exploring nearby islands in one of four bedrooms: 2 queens, 1 full, and a bunk room with two twins.

The Arthaus, an eclectic retreat for two

Located on Mount Desert Islands, "Quietside". The cottage features high ceilings and an open floor plan, with a small deck looking into the woods The walls are decorated with original art work by the owner. Our location is central to the island, situated just outside the village of Somesville; 15 minutes to Bar Harbor, 10 minutes to Southwest Harbor by car. Hiking and swimming opportunities are just 5 minutes away by car. The Arthaus is not suitable for pets, despite our love for them.

This 3 bedroom 3.5 bath home (each bedroom with its own full bathroom) is situated in a private, wooded setting on the edge of Southwest Harbor's bustling village. All on one level, it offers sophisticated yet comfortable furnishings in an open floor plan design. Each bedroom has a full bath. It’s close to several Acadia National Park access points (Long Pond and Echo Lake are both within a 5 minute drive). This home offers extra wide doorways accomodating those with mobility issues.

Explore all the beauty of Acadia National Park, climb local mountains, kayak the Mt Desert Narrows or just watch the tides and mountains from your private deck!

3 Bedroom Home on a private road on Long Pond. Truly on the quiet side of Mt Desert Island. Screened in front porch on water side with access to the lake (~300 feet through the woods) and private use of the dock. One and a half bathrooms. Only three houses on this ten acre family parcel.

In Somesville Village (on a main road) with Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor minutes away. The house has a kitchen with dining area, 3 bedrooms, and 1 bath. We are year round residents and love to share our home ,garden, field and woods.
