Nestled along the famous Little Juniata river this newly renovated house still holds its older country charm. The cottage has a semi private setting on a large country lot providing scenic views. You can hear the distant whistle of a passing train on the nearby tracks. Some of the finest fishing in Pa is mere steps away being just across the road.

Located on our family farm—note the name of the road!—we've recently renovated the farmhouse to add modern amenities and style to its original charm. Any of the many large windows affords a view of the farm's pastures, pond, apple trees, and hills. Prince Gallitzin State Park is less than five minutes down the road. The wrap-around porch offers a shady place to relax or even enjoy a meal outside. And, though the space is all your own, we live right across the yard should you need anything.

The cabin is located only 20 miles from Penn State University, making it the ideal place to stay while attending events at University Park. Located within 30 minutes of downtown State College, the cabin has historic charm, modern amenities, and plenty of private outdoor space to relax. With three bedrooms, two full baths, fully stocked kitchen, multiple living areas and outdoor dining areas, the cabin has plenty of space for everyone. Very strict NO SMOKING rule.

We have extensively remodeled this special home and brought it forward from the 1960s while maintaining its character, including the original wrought iron railing and open vaulted living room. We've also incorporated some elements of Altoona's history into the home.
