The house has a double bed in the living room, little cosy kitchen and toile with a sink - NO shower or bathtub !! 3x swimming pools within 30 km radius/ Ertu fyrir gömul hús, með eldri munum, hallandi gólfi og fallegu útsýni þá er þetta staðurinn fyrir þig. 7 km frá þjóðveginum. Engin baðaðstaða en 15 km í næstu sundlaug.

Red countryside cabin A

New and well furnished 28,8 fm2 twin cottages, close to many tourist attractions in south of Iceland. It has a twin bed (two 90 cm) and a sofa bed for 1 person. Perfect for couples or small families. There are 2 cabins, cabin A or cabin B. There's also a private bathroom with free toiletries in each cabin. Towels and bed linen are included. There's also a kitchen equipped with everything you need. Great location to enjoy the bright Icelandic summer nights or the northern lights in the winter.

Then Hvílusteinn is perfect as a getaway from the city into the wilderness & as a base camp for South Iceland, within 100 km you have most of Iceland's popular gems! Airport about 170km away. It's nice to just enjoy the local nature and the northern lights in this remote and secluded area of the countryside with a private outdoor shower and shared indoor shower and a sauna. Closed to the cottage is Skálholt church, one of Iceland´s most important historic sites. You’ll love my place because of the comfy bed, the coziness, the kitchen, the hot tub. My place is good for couples and solo adventurers. Only 2 km to Health service. If you have back problems we have a soft mattress for you.

The guesthouse is a renovated space with almost everything a modern couple would need when taking a break from the digital wasteland to stay close to nature. On the inside it is 12 m2 and there you find a bed (140 x 200 cm), table and chairs, mini-fridge, sink, hangers for clothes and a wc. The shower is outdoors, surrounded by trees. Outside the house is a wooden terrace facing mount Hekla.
