Our cabin's a win-win

In 1834, it was a chicken coop nestled between the house and barn. Today, it's a cozy cabin just a stone's throw away from the villa and venue. From the private, rural setting to the rustic decor, you'll feel as though you've traveled back to simpler times. It's unique, refreshing and oh-so tranquil. The Ho Hum East on Apple Canyon Lake

The Ho Hum East is a beautiful lake house with private dock on pristine Apple Canyon Lake! The house is named in honor of my grandparents who ran the Ho Hum Motel in Denison, Iowa :) A place to unwind, de-stress, and have some family fun! The house features all brand new mattresses in 3 bedrooms plus flex space; master bedroom with queen bed, guest bedroom with 1 queen and 1 twin, loft bedroom with 2 queens, pull out couch in living room, and 2 couches in the loft that pull out into twin beds.

🌿 Cozy cabin nestled in the peaceful Wisconsin woods—your perfect getaway. Relax in the outdoor hot tub under the stars, explore private forest trails, gather around the fire pit,  and enjoy watching our free-range goats, ducks and chickens. note that our home is across the driveway, so you may occasionally see us caring for the animals, but your cabin and outdoor space are all your own and we respect the privacy of all our guests. Ulysses Suites, Suite 202

Ulysses Suites has just been completed inside the historic J. G. Schmohl building in the heart of downtown Galena, located at 213-217 S. Main Street. The location is walking distance to all the best restaurants and shops. We have 7 suites and a beautiful lobby that are modern and luxurious, with lots of historical character and texture as a nod to its previous existence as the Grant Hotel from 1895 to 1933. Suite 202 is a gorgeous studio with a huge window seat looking over Main Street.

Custom Floating Suite-HOT TUB!

Enjoy a stay directly on the backwaters of the Mississippi River. This custom cabin is floating right on the water, and you won't find anything like it! Grab your loved one or friend and surround yourself in nature, while soaking in the hot tub on the floating patio, or in the beautiful tub inside. Relax in the king size bed thats in front of one of the two fireplaces. The cabin has everything you need, including a small kitchen. This floating oasis is located at Millennium Marina.

Galena Country Getaway

Brick walkway leads to the cedar deck with Adirondack chairs overlooking the large backyard. Enjoy dinner out on the deck and roast marshmallows over a bonfire at the firepit. The dark sky provides excellent stargazing. Kitchen features full-sized refrigerator, cooking utensils and a variety of spices. Spacious bathroom with a waterfall-style shower. Carpeted loft includes a sleep number queen sized bed and two twin beds. Close to Historic Galena & Apple Canyon State Park

The Gadabout is a brand-new camper located at DAT campground on the ATV trails of Lafayette County, nestled in historic Shullsburg, WI. A foodie's delight- Shullsburg is filled with quaint restaurants and cafes located in the beautifully maintained downtown Water Street. The Gadabout is filled with all the amenities you could need and my custom decor. Lafayette County is my home, and I thoroughly enjoy sharing this little corner of Southwest Wisconsin with guests.

Hamilton Goebel House

This house is a historic home that was built in 1833 on land owned by Jamison Hamilton, the founder of Darlington. It is not known if he actually lived in the house,but could be assumed. During your stay you will find bits of history and pictures that have been gathered along the way.It has all the comforts of home. A beautiful four bedroom home that has been completely renovated to reflect the old and new times. This home was on the list to be torn down by the city.

The Old Farmhouse

The old farmhouse is located on a quiet, dead-end road. It sits on top of a picturesque hill surrounded by rolling farmland. The Pecatonica river surrounds the farm on three sides. The farmhouse is the perfect place for quiet time and relaxation. The Farmhouse was built in 1914. It still has the original woodwork, and beautiful hardwood floors. Sit on the porch or sit around the fire pit and enjoy the beautiful fall foliage.

The Car Wash Inn A Unique Stay

Enjoy a unique stay inside a beautifully revitalized single bay 1950s car wash. Only minutes away from historic downtown Shullsburg. Historic Building in the Heart of Shullsburg

Located in Historic Downtown Shullsburg. The Risken Lee is the oldest building on historic Water Street in Shullsburg. Example of early frontier lodging: plank pine floors, beautiful fireplaces, classy bathrooms, simple woodwork and homemade doors and windows. You can rent the entire place for a large gathering.
