Our Cabin in the Trees

Rural location in Tappen. Our 400 sq ft one bedroom suite is equipped with a full kitchen, living space and a bathroom with a shower. Whether you are looking for a weekend escape, attending a local event, or in transit between Vancouver and Calgary, you will enjoy the peace and quiet of our surroundings. We have a second unit on the ground floor of our house called The Sunset Studio. If you are traveling with someone else and they would like their own space, check its availability calendar.

A Suite Above

"A Suite Above" is a gateway to adventure suitable for all seasons. You can enjoy a view of Shuswap Lake on your private deck with the natural gas barbecue - you’ll never run out of gas! The kitchen is fully equipped with dishes, utensils, glasses, mugs, coffee maker, kettle and other amenities that will allow you to have a meal on the deck or at the dining table in the suite. The suite is air conditioned and the living area has a cozy natural gas fireplace for those cooler days and nights.

Detached private guesthouse with 2 king size luxury beds, one queen size murphy bed, fully stocked kitchen, bathroom and walk in shower and laundry. Property designed in Tuscan theme with beautiful outdoor seating area with outdoor shower and very large private gated yard. Outdoor kitchen stocked with double burner hot plate and breakfast griddle. Full private dock on lakeside of property with sandy beach and fire pit. Enjoy beautiful sunsets and sunrises on the beach. Holmwood Farm Julia’s Kitchen Suite

Julia’s Suite features a full kitchen. An adjoining (Buds Lounge Suite) can also be rented for up to four additional guests. Holmwood Farm is a very scenic property with great views and lots of hiking and x country ski trails. It is home to a small flock of sheep, and cows which are grazed regeneratively. . You will have access to fresh vegetables from our garden in the summer months , and free range eggs, pastured meats and locally sourced gifts from our farm store.
