Cottage in the Gardens

Extensive beautiful gardens give everyone the ambiance of a very, very peaceful place. Many love to connect with the friendly farm animals. The BNB is very comfortable & private. The Gardens give the impression we are miles away from the city, but all services are within 2 miles. Just a mile off the freeway, its easy access to the salt water, walking paths & parks, restaurants, museums, stores. Only a couple hours(or less) to Rainier & Olympic National parks, the ocean, zoo, wildlife parks.

Relax and unwind in our squeaky-clean beachfront home with private hot tub & cozy fireplace. Beautiful Pickering is recently renovated and sleeps 6. Wake up to breathtaking views of Mount Rainier, wander the beach, soak in the hot tub, wrap up in a spa robe, and get cozy by the wood-burning fireplace. Cook on the gas stove, dine on the deck, breathe in the fresh forest air. Always fully cleaned and disinfected after each guest. Dogs allowed (preferably less than 20 lbs), with a pet fee.

You will have the entire ground floor of our 3 story home with your own private entrance, facing the ponds and forest. Spencer Lake, Phillips Lake, and Harstine Island boat launches are all within 10 minutes. We have 2 large ponds and a year round creek for you to meander and explore.

Fern's Cottage is a peaceful backyard urban oasis and conveniently located on Olympia's Westside. Walk, bike, bus, drive to Capital Campus, Farmer's Market, parks, restaurants, tap rooms and coffee roasters. Evergreen State College is 3 miles away. The 500 sq ft cottage has an open floor plan, kitchen, designated internet line, Roku TV, and W/D available. Easy self-check in, private entrance and off street parking surveilled by security camera.
