The scenery is beautiful and overlooks Weymouth Bay with views to Portland. Full of trees, grass and squirrels. Great for picnics and to chill out.
You can walk or cycle along the Rodwell Trail (disused old railway line) from Abbotsbury Road to the Nothe, where there is beautiful scenery and woods all along.

Lots to do there - a Brewers Fayre family pub, Go Karting, Slides, Crazy Golf, Sealife Centre, Sandworld and nice walks through woods. Park with fitness resistance machines dotted around. There is a small train that operates around the park in the summer. Nice day out!

Views out to sea, a nice restaurant (in and outside) and a gift shop. You can also tour around the lighthouse or go for a walk by the sea.

Just before Bowleaze Cove, you will pass a cafe on the top of the hill which has stunning panoramic views over to Portland. There are also public seats there too and it is a great area for a picnic. A good stopping off point!
