Brännö is a lovely island in the southern part of Gothenburgs archipelago with just over 800 inhabitants. Different to the other islands, it has relied on farming, piloting boats and shipping as its main sources of income. Lasse Dahlqvist, a ballad composer, lived here and made the island famous through his ballads.
