My Foodie List
I hope this list will give you some inspiration to venture out and try some off the beaten track places to enjoy a meal or a drink. I am an adventurous eater and will try all places and anything off a menu. I try street food, take aways, cheap and cheerful places and top end venues. Everytime I get an opportunity to visit my apartment in the beautiful St Martini Gardens complex I try visit as many places as possible but also love cooking a delicious meal in the kitchen.
This is a hidden gem. I only had a drink here but the venue is so cool. The best is they allow the public to access the pool, so this as an alternative to a public beach could be fab!! Waiter on call for a cocktail too!

The choice is amazing and there is something for everyone at super affordable prices. Curries, Chinese, Indian, Arabic. The portions are huge so go hungry. A tip from a fellow patron was to order the eat in option as the portion sizes are bigger than the take aways but once your done eating ask for a take away holder and fill it up for your takeaway meal the next day.
Do not expect anything fancy here. Its a eating place for locals of all types. I love it!!

If you venture out to the southern suburbs and coastline the Brass Bell is a really lovely restaurant on the coastline that serves really good food. My first ever Calamari was eaten here when I was a student. A solid 5*****

I love Berthas for it location. Its on the edge of a small harbour and the prices are good. The fish and chips here is 4th on my list. Beers are always cold.

One of the more affordable seafood restaurants in Camps Bay. A good varied menu and Happy Hour cocktails make it a great place to spend the afternoon. Had many a seafood platter , oysters and cocktails here! Enjoy it.
