El Tunco has plenty of restaurant options and these are some of my favorite, Coyote Cojo, La Esquina de la Comadre, Dale Dal, Roza Sunzal, Tunco Veloz and La Guitarra.

This is hands down our favorite pizza place so far. Their thin crust pizza is a must-have if you are staying in La Libertad. Try the Calamarona, the Tres Amigos and the PPP pizza!

This is a wonderful small colonial town in the mountains of El Salvador. It is best to go on weekends to see all the street vendors and artisans. This is best to take a day trip or to stay overnight to enjoy the good restaurants and activities.

The lake is in a volcanic crater with a small island on it. It has spectacular views from the surrounding mountains. You can take boat tours or have lunch on one of the surrounding restaurants. There are restaurants on the rim looking down as well as restaurants at water level. Water is very clear. Lots of houses to rent and even a few small hotels.

There are restaurants on the rim looking down as well as restaurants at water level. Water is very clear. Lots of houses to rent and even a few small hotels.
