Cozy, quiet family owned restaurant near Food Lion. Their vegetables and burgers are excellent and I highly recommend the whitefish dip appetizer. Lots of good stuff!

Located at Oak Island Pier (aka Yaupon Fishing Pier). Great food, fantastic view. It's a little loud inside, and like most places on the island, you might have a little bit of a wait, but it’s worth it. Have a seat on the outside deck and enjoy a cold beverage then take a walk on the pier.

Newer sports bar/night life location to the island. About 5 blocks from my house. One of the few locations to offer late night dining every night. Not sure what winter hours will look like but right now, this is about the only choice if you’re arriving late.

Best BBQ on the island! Pulled pork, brisket, pulled and fried chicken, home made sides, quick service and very conveniently located. Always recommend the white slaw on the pulled pork sandwich. If I'm not smoking my own pork, this is the place I go. Walking distance from my house.
